Our steering racks and pumps are completely disassembled, cleaned and micrometer measured to the one thousandth on an inch. All outer sufaces are painted or plated as appropriate and interior surfaces are polished and remeasured. Then, they are carefully reassembled using only new OEM bushings, bearings and seals. Finally, they are professionally checked and tested for smoothness, fluid flow, and pressures (up to 1,200 psi) on a stand simulating road driving conditions.
